Discover FBC - Decatur & Madison

Discover FBC is the next step for anyone interested in learning more about First Bible Church.  This class will help you better understand the beliefs, philosophy, and direction of our church, as well as meeting others in the same process. Whether you are a first time guest or you’ve been visiting with us for some time, Discover FBC will help you learn more about our church, how to get connected to others, and opportunities for making an impact in our church and community.
Discover FBC meets the first Sunday of every month.

Membership Class FBC - Decatur & Madison


If you're interested in becoming a member of First Bible, a two part membership class will take place on January 19 & 26, during the 9:15 hour in Decatur and the 10:45 hour in Madison. You can register on our website or stop by the Hub.

Child Dedication Class- Decatur & Madison

At this class we will be discussing what child dedication is, the importance of the church-home relationship and what you can expect over the coming years for your child at First Bible Church. Please note, parents are required to be members for their child to be dedicated.
If you have taken the class and have a child you would like to dedicate in February, please email your Campus Pastor.

Student Ministry Winter Retreat-Decatur & Madison 

Event Date: January 31 - February 2
Place: CAMP TO KNOW HIM
Times: Friday Jan 31 (4:00 pm) to Sunday Feb 2 (12:00 pm), 2025
Registration is November 7th-January 12th ($150)
Upon registration, a link to the release form will be emailed to you. These must be completed by the student’s parent/guardian before the camp departure date.
Due to processing fees from credit and debit card companies, we are only able to offer ACH (the same as an e-check or bank draft) when registering online. If you would prefer to pay by cash or check, you may do so in the Student Ministry office in Decatur or Madison. Registrants can bring named guests

As you study the chapters Isaiah wrote—from his challenging words to the nation of Israel to his prophecies of the Messiah to come—learn to rest in God's promises and grow in trust. Connecting Life's Struggles to God's Answers-Madison Campus Class

Event Date: Sundays, Jan. 12 - April 13
Place: Madison Campus
Times: 5:30-7:00p.m.
  • Through this class, you will: grow in your ability to handle complex and difficult problems with greater strength, joy and Christlikeness.
  • learn to thrive within hardships--not simply endure them.
  • understand God’s nature, character, and relationship to you so well that you will want to teach others.

Topics Include
  • Are God and His Word really sufficient for all our problems?
  • How God speaks into every situation.
  • Dealing with emotions God’s way.
  • How to stop craving created things and people to worship God with joy.

Madison Campus  - Women's Bible Studies

On Thursdays, join us at 8:15a.m. for prayer as we pray for our church family and our ministry partners around the world.
"Philippians: Living for Christ" by Lydia Brownback. Wednesdays, 9:30-11:00a.m.  February 5-April 9.
Join Lydia Brownback as she explores Philippians and shows readers that even in the face of persecution and other difficulties, there is abundant peace through unity in Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This study helps women focus on God as the source of their joy when life threatens to sidetrack them. Make sure to purchase your book before the first meeting! Limited childcare will be provided so please indicate ages and names in your registration. Please note that childcare may require each participating mom to agree to serve as a care provider on a rotational basis.

Madison Campus  - Ladies One Day Class

Sunday, January 26, 12:30-2:30p.m.
"Worship like Mary, Peace With Jesus," How do you worship like Mary rather than stress like Martha?  Come sit and share with other women over a box or brown-bag lunch. Register with $10 to reserve a box lunch from Jersey Mike's or register for free and bring your own. Register online or at the HUB.

Madison Campus  - Ladies Evangelism Training

Saturday, February 8, Madison Campus
10-11:30 a.m.
Do you struggle to know where or how to start evangelizing with the people around you? Maybe you see your neighbor, coworker, or family member regularly but just don’t know how to comfortably start the conversation. Join Jennifer Wade as she focuses on techniques for sharing the Gospel and provides different tools to use as ice breakers. Register on Realm or at the HUB. Madison Campus  - Grief Share Class

Thursdays 5:30-7:15p.m.
January 16 - March 6
GriefShare is a safe welcoming place where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. At GriefShare you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you to relief, comfort, and peace of mind. The cost is $15 for the workbook, payable online or in person.
